neutral indication

I have a 2015 triglide ultra. Recently had starting issues and replaced the battery. Since then I have no neutral indicator. Bike will not start without holding brake and clutch. All gears indicators work, just no neutral light. I have been searching and asking others including service at HD if they have run into this before. So far no luck. Any ideas??

Welcome to Trike-Talk......:wave4:....Can't help on the neutral light....Just a question, Can / Will the transmission go into neutral?...And if so will it start by just holding the brake brake....??

Have you checked for trouble codes yet? See this link http://www.motorcycletireco.com/motorcycle-service/harley-davidson-repair/harley-fault-codes/

You will be looking first for harley dtc B2218 this could be a bad neutral switch

The trike goes into neutral no problem, does not start just holding the brake. I must hold the brake and the clutch grips to start it. Runs great, otherwise.

I thought neutral safety switch, but other than the one in the clutch grip, I cannot find one. Location? Have been all over the net.

Screws in from the outside with a new O ring seal. It is taper tit threads so it does not require a lot of torque 120 -180 inch lbs of torque
