Good new/bad news....

Good news is the company has finally signed a couple contracts so we will have work coming in the door. With that, layoffs should be off the table for anyone still working here.

Bad news is, I just had to burn a weeks vacation due to a major sinus infection. If I need to use anymore time between now and Sept, I probably won't make MV 2019

keeping fingers crossed nothing else comes up. Looking forward to seeing everyone, even Mike W. LOL

Got The Rates

The Good News: Cheaper than last year's rate if you can believe that. Michael is doing us right as always.

Monday Sept 2nd through Thursday Sept 5th $71.99 per night! (plus tax) Last year it was $76.49 (plus tax)

If you come in on Sunday the 1st, the rate is $125.99 for that day, reg pricing is $139.99. This is the weekend rate plus it a holiday, Labor Day weekend, so thats the best he could do. By all rights, he could have probably jacked up Monday (Labor Day) to about the same rate, but kudos to him that he did not.

The Bad News - There is none. Only Good News.

When you call Best Western Maggie Valley at 828-926-3962 be sure to tell them you are with the Trike Talk group. Also request what rooms you want, I like to be on the front of the hotel, bottom floor or front top floor, but there are limited rooms there, so first come first served. Our contact there is Mandy but all staff should know what our rates are.
