I never thought about courthouses; I stop at the old graveyards out in the country...

Lived in Eldorado Kansas for about a year, worked in Texaco refinery. Don't remember whether they had a courthouse or not.

I always check out graveyards, and churches as I ride though small towns, wife checks out fire stations.

I have I friend that is an undertaker. his funeral home has records from way back. it was an interesting read with some of the causes of death back in the early 1900's and how they paid for the services .
