You will be fine with your plan, if you change both exhaust and air cleaner is when you will need a tuner for sure

Understand you will be voiding your power-train warranty doing this

Keeping the stock pipes in case need to go back on for warranty work. Not likely do most myself but you never know. Thanks all for the welcome. Love the site lots of good stuff on here.
