Knee Replacement

Will it has been 14 days since the knee replacement. This last week was tough but have made. It is getting better. May not have to be here the hole rehab time if it keeps getting better. That would be fine with me. Bed is really bad.

Good news Bob!! Glad you are doing so well. :xszpv::xszpv:

Home From Rehab

Will I came home from rehab Wed.. Back to my bed and house. I still have a lot of rehab to do. Three days a week but that is what will make it better. Just wish it was not so hot here. Want to go out to the shop and set around. The walls of the house close in all so. But it will get a lot better. I have some things to do here at the house to help. The rehab was a great place and took good care of me.

new up date

Got news from my therapy that I was done. My doctor said I was doing great and they both said I can keep up my therapy at home. I am no longer using a walked or Cain. Have not used them for about two weeks. Been driving and things are getting much better. I feel so much better. I am going to keep doing more like what I do each day and using my knee.

My wife and mom have taken great care of me. all so lots of friends. But most of all the good Lord. :)

It sounds like you've been a good patient Bob with plenty of help, congrats on starting to be back to normal, keep up the hard work.

They will get better. Had both of mine replaced 4-21-16 and eight weeks later walking great, riding trike and my M50 with no problems. I ended up with 137 degrees in both knees. Today surgery and recovery is so much better than 20 years ago.

Keep on doing what you were taught in therapy and it will just continue to get better. There are a few things the wife cannot do, but the good thing is, NO PAIN. That also makes it easier for me, if she is doing good, so am I. Keep us updated. Jim

I have been putting off a knee replacement for a year or more now
The Doc keeps giving me cortisone shots to hold me off.

My father went through hell with his knees and the different operations.
But it is getting hard to put it off anymore.
The hardest is going down steps.
