I pulled the trigger

After giving it a lot of thought my wife and I decided to trade in the 98 GL1500 on a 2009 Roadsmith trike with only 5600 miles. Horizon Trikes had this Roadsmith at the Kansas GWRRA rally and it caught my eye. After looking it over and taking it for a test ride I went home and started researching it. I called Horizon and found out it was still available and made a deal over the phone. I then called another couple and asked them if they wanted to go on a road trip from Kansas City to Clarksville Arkansas which they immediately agreed to. We rode the Pig Trail in Arkansas on the way to Clarksville to hit a few twisties before we got the trike. I still have two more two wheelers for when I feel the need. I led on the way home so that I would control the pace and not be tempted to try to keep up with a more experienced trike driver. He said I did good and seemed to take to driving the trike pretty quick. We did a little over 300 miles and I was feeling comfortable riding it. My wife and I are happy with our purchase and are looking forward to some more trips.

Welcome aboard Steve!! That is a GREAT looking trike. Looks very well accessorized. Sounds like you and your bride have many miles of enjoyment ahead.

Hello Smilam and welcome to the website from the U.P. of Michigan. You have a beautiful trike to enjoy just make sure you watch out for the sneaky cager and ride safe. Hope to hear from you often.
