go with "Synthetic oils". I use Amsoil in all three holes. you will have people telling you their preference all day long. or go with what you can get your hands on near you.:Coffee:

Premium OIL is just that! find one you believe in and use it. Each of us have our opinions and why we use what we do. I USE Mobile 1 for availability in motor, switching to Red Line in tranny, and also to Red Line in primary. :Shrug: ride safely fearless

You really need to search "oil" in the Harley forum and read all the responses. This subject has been discussed a lot. The bottom line is going to be: take what you read and make up your own now slightly confused mine. The information is going to be overwhelming. And here is the killer out of all the information there really is not a wrong answer.

I use Synthetic Gear Oil 75-140 in trans, Changed at every 10K

Synthetic 20 W 50 engine changed every 5k

And a mixture of 3 to 1 of Formula +/20 w 50 Synthetic engine in the Primary changed every 5k.

This is what I like but it is NOT the only choice. Most of all the other suggestions work good, as good or maybe even better.
