Just came across this tranny fluid-----[h=5]Amsoil MVTQT-EA Synthetic V-Twin Trans Fluid,[/h]I believe it is 110w Used Amsoil severe gear for some time, never saw this one before. Anyone use it ???

OK , I decided to try it. Ordered from Amsoil 2 qts. Shp was $8.99 total. I have 5k on the severe gear, but may decide to change it anyway. Not sure I will get another 5k on it before crappy s**w hits Ohio. Been a bad year for us with all the Dr appts. 3 more to go. I want to try this tranny oil. Have always had great results with Amsoil on the 03 HD(105k),on 10k changes & a Chevy diesel, we put over 400,000 delivering trailers in the US. That was on 60k changes with a dual filter bypass system. Will be some time before I will be able to report back,as the next long ride is MV in Sept.

Never used Amsoil products but I know they are top notch. But for the tranny Redline would be very hard to beat imo. Changed to it at the 1k service and shifting is so much smoother and less 'clanky' also. Used it before on several bikes but for some reason had drifted away. Glad I came back to it. Let us know how you like the Amsoil tranny fluid. If it's like the Redline you'll tell a difference right away.

Right now I will stick with the harley stuff, may switch to redline sometime, did use belray on other trike with good results, but right now I will stick with harley branded until I know what the trannie/primary thing is going to do on my trike, right now good no transfer but I don't have enough miles yet to know.

I will never use HD oil products ,until they start telling who makes it for them. Long ago it was Citgo, now ,who knows? Whoever will make it the cheapest I guess.

I use Amsoil 20/50 in the engine Redseal V Twin tranny and their primary and not one complaint. Must be something to this as the Harley dealer in Wacko now has red seal on the shelf right next to the HD Squawking Buzzard. I buy it from an independent who I've done business with for a very long time. Amsoil 20/50 11.95 a quart, both redseal 14.95 quart
