Well, we left Eureka with Eddie from NY, he was the one riding the spyder, when we got to the troy plaza in Illinois we gases up and had lunch, when we came out Eddies bike had a blinking check engine light. We waited for a bit, but there was nothing we could do for him, he was safely in a truck stop with plenty of air conditioning, so we headed out for Terra Haute. Hope he made out OK, have not heard from him.

Maybe if you leave early enough you can swing by and pick us up, but I'm planning a 6:01am departure time tomorrow morning. Be safe, I am sure we will se ya at the NE TT rally.
The key is being able to find the code # and know what it means. Ive had check engine lights before. There is a way of looking at # on the radio of TG. One time it was just problem with cruise control switch. No biggy. On my '04 FLH, it directed HD to problem with fuel injector butterfly (which I had guessed as area of problem already). Until code came up, no dealer was able to properly diagnose problems I was having. Of course code came up in 112' heat outside Phoenix. I babied it to Tucson and they ordered parts.
I just told Dianne we should leave real early Sat in order to beat the heat. Which brings us to the phrase "If looks could kill". And the oxymoron "Logical Women".

Nancy, you know if I could get that stupid money tree to grow, you couldn't keep me away!! I swear I bought it from the same idiot selling ocean front property in Vegas, because ever since I planted it all I've gotten is rocks & weeds! ;)

Cheri,
Heaven knows I'm the wrong one to ask about growing anything except "larger" which happens to be my specialty! Ask Scalp Hunter for some advice, ANY subject! Or either Scott or Carolyn Mallin, both experts in financial and gardening matters; should've linked up with our "surrogate kids" many years ago! Finest folks EVER, right up there on a par with the rest of my buddies who'll be with us next year!!

Good Saturday Morning TRIKE TALK/TOI Friends...posted a few more Pics and Threads in the RALLY 6 Forum...Mitzie and I spent all of yesterday on the Scooters...probably the same today. Gonna' check out Pioneer Days at Lynchburg "Scooter Riding, Food, and Entertainment"...I'm in.....ThumbUp

Lol, well after 325 miles we are home and the tour pack brackets are installed. Total mileage for this trip was 2840, not to bad. Thanks to everyone that kept us entertained while in Eureka.

Ride Safe and Enjoy!

Hey OB I found out why our camera was eating batteries. Seems someone had it set on video. We've got an hour or more of cars, semi trucks, pavement and the back of my helmet. Showed it to the head photographer, who claims to be innocent. LMAO

Did a piddling 405 miles today. Stopped for night in Bethleham, PA. Diannes not feeling great and is taking a nap. Apparently, if I know what's good for me, I had better wait for her to wake up before getting dinner. GPS says 147 miles to home tomorrow. Nice easy day. As long as no festivals are happening on Canal or Mulburry streets in NYC to block me. Just need to be home before 2pm to pick up kitty from "spa treatment" (vet).

I've been practicing my yes mam response Archie. After Tuesday's surgery I'll need to be on my best behavior for a few weeks.
Bandit is going to send me the photos that he and Sherry took on a cd. I'll make you a copy and put it with your t-shirt.

Yes Skut I witnessed your perfect response more than once last week. I'll let you know how it goes on Tuesday.
She has requested I find a different backrest for her seat, one that sits more upright. I found one from Diamond that should fit the request and have orders to have it installed within the next three weeks. Since I'm such a quick learner,I'll give them a call on Monday.

Any issues that would be stopping me from logging in on a 2nd computer in a hotel. Typing on my cell but wanted to start new thread with pic. Most of time cell won't allow uploading. Tried multiple times. Hotel computer keeps saying I'm not logged onto TT after I type username and password. Doesn't say its wrong. Just doesn't log on.

Yeah, the Verizon "almost rotary dial" Loaner was a lot of Fun...thought Cell Phones were a fairly recent invention, but could have sworn the Loaner said made in 1963 on it......Monday sounds very "professional", I guess I set a good example at the RALLY...:D...Yep, for sure let us know how well things progress...Enjoyed hanging out with Ya'll like always...ThumbUp

Mornin - I suggested a quick trip to Lowes and a stop for breakfast before church. All I got was a, see you later response. ????
OB, I did find out that Eddie made it home about 11:30 Friday night. The dealer cleared the code and he was on his way 90 minutes later. It appears the New York dealer didn't replace the part he was charged for some time ago.

Another weasely dealer. Just what LI needs. I don't know where Eddie got trike, but the only one I know of near him is next door to HD dealer. Looks like he made some good hours getting home. I'm still meandering that way. Won't make it home for a couple hours.
