I changed the fuel filter in my 19 tri glide today. Here are a few pictures.
First prepare the tank to prevent scratching.
Next remove the ring that holds everything in place. I like to use the proper tool but a hammer and drift will work if you're very careful.
Bring the filter assembly up out of the tank.
Remove the clip holding the filter container to the top plate
Remove the filter.
Replace the filter, and don't forget the new o-rings and reassemble in reverse order. Not a difficult job at all.
