Champion Trikes Press Release

A growing number of trike owners are letting their wheels make a fashion statement: Black is the new chrome!

At Champion Trikes in Garden Grove, CA , sales of Trikes and Sidecars with custom finished wheels in black are "hot," SVP of sales David Larr stated.

Choosing the industrial-looking option over the more traditional silver alloy wheel is a way to stand out, said Larr, who got them for his own motorcycle, a Harley Davidson CVO Road Glide.
"I love the looks," he said. "It's sporty, racy and different." and increasingly popular.

Black wheels already account for at least 90 percent of sales on standard motorcycles at the spacious Harley Davidson store in Westminster, and salesman say they are poised to "dominate" the market.

Champion Trikes is pleased to announce that we will be offering our standard alloy wheel in a powder coated gloss black finish to match the current styles of today's motorcycle.

Please contact our sales department for more information on how to order these wheels today.

Re: Champion now offers a Black Edition wheel for your Trike!

One of the first things I did when I got my Goldwing trike last year was get the back wheels painted black with a white stripe. It was $450 for both wheels at a local custom paint shop. I really like it a lot. My theme for my trike is black and white.
