Bought trike from private indiv. Went under to check things discovered boot on r side is torn. Grease spun out on shock has sand and grime so appears to not recent tear. Is pulling this same as a car axle? Do u replace whole shaft? Any sources to get one? Papers show bike registered to bank so no history prob was repo.

Don’t know about the gold wings, but on my SUVs side-by-side I just change a whole shaft It comes complete with the boot on ‘ already greased just popped the old one off, popped the new one in…I get them via Amazon…

Talked to Jason at Champion to prevent further problems they recommend doing replacement of entire cv shaft. They stock them and are sending new one today.
I haven't been able to get ahold of them, are there part numbers? or any other way to order them? ...I actually have a 2016 Victory Cross Country with the Champion IRS. I am hoping it is the same axles, just switching the rear pulley location.
