Victory Lehman-Champion IRS CV joints?

Hey All,
I have a 2016 Victory CC with a Crossfire conversion. It was squealing and I found that the belt was bad. So I replaced it, as I was replacing it I noticed substantial play in the CV joints and the boots were torn with grease all over the place.

So what I know:
Grease is a pain in the butt to clean
I have tried calling Champion of AZ with no response
i heard the boots were a VW type-1
The joints appear to be non-serviceable, the inner side (attached to the pulley shaft) has a sleeve type expansion joint.
The outer CV (hub sides) is built into a 28 spline spindle

What I don't know:
Can this be locally sourced?
Are there part numbers available?
Is this compatible with any other of the kits?
Is there a better way to contact Champion?

Thanks, AstroWIN_20240524_21_33_07_Pro.jpg

Contact Champion Sidecars, formerly Champion Trikes & Sidecars, who were the trike conversion's manufacturer. They should be able to provide you with the part numbers you will need to source the replacement automotive CV axles that they used.

Papa Zook,
Thanks for this response and information. I called them (and although they picked up the phone which is a nice relief) they no longer deal with any of the trike components...they sold that to Champion of Arizona.

So I guess I'm still fishin' for a solution.

I know they no longer sell the components, but they still have access to the information regarding what make and model CV axles they used. I had hoped they would be willing to retrieve and share that with you.

When you said you got no response from Champion of AZ, are you saying no one answered your call, or they did answer, but did not have that information?
