About the same as the 2009 Forced optional electric reverse.
Yes, in fact I think THAT was what I remember being $1,100. Anyone remember what the cruise/security was?
With regard to the Triker who said he would never use the CB, we don't talk on the CB "Hey Trucker" but we use it as our communication between bikes when riding, either with one or two bikers/trikers or with our HOG Chapter. Sure beats the days when you had a problem or had to make a pit stop and the rest of the group was 5 miles up the road. ?
I am fairly new to this but I have a question... Could the handheld mic part # 76312-98 be used in lieu of the PTT switch. Especially if the CB isn't used much??
Please keep us updated on that work around for the hand held!Stopped at the dealer last night to confirm this. They said they are aware of it and have a solution for it. They have already converted 2 bikes this week and the mike works perfectly. What a relief.......of course now I still have to spend mucho $$$$. :teeth:
jcoud, that would be a real trick - I guess riding with both hands off the handlebars is safer then just one. What a bunch of morons.
If Harley's lawyers are affaid of being sued because someone took their hand of the handlebar(were there ANY cases like that or were they just thinking IT MIGHT happen) how do they explain truck drivers??? They do it almost 24/7 and they're suppose to be the safest drivers on the road.
I'm really beginning to think H-D decision makers are drinking the kool-aid. ThumbUp
I ordered a tour pak rack also. What was wrong with the one you got???
Also curious as to how the squelch is adjusted without the PPT switch, Keep us informed. PleaseStopped at the dealer last night to confirm this. Don't know which one you pointed to, so I hope the one I ordered will fit. It's the same one (53665-87) I had on my 2012 and the P&A catalog doesn't say it won't fit.
