This thread might continue forever, goes to show how many read this forum. I might well be the oldest guy on this thread having turned the big 80. I certainly didn't read all the posts to find out. So now ya know why I ride my Road Smith trike. Did the conversion after the birthday having experienced 2 wheels for 46 years. Enjoying my trike, stretched out my riding years, my co-pilot enjoying as well. Life is good.

My sentiments as well. I can recall the time I thought, I won't be riding one of those things. The mind changes with circumstances, holds true with the trike. I did not have an open mind, I might not be enjoying the ride, or maybe not be riding at all, wondering, what the hell do I do now?

Well I am 81 and ride a 2000 Yamaha vstar 650 and my "children" are getting rather insistent that I should get a trike. Hence I am here to see what it is all about and look for ideas on what is best suited. I have looked at the tow pac web site and find it interesting. The can am spyder appeals to me but I find it a bit expensive and I think I will have to look for something used. I am in Canada so I am a bit limited in choice. There are some restrictions on importing trike conversions.
