Got a new air rifle for Christmas and really like it but need some imfo on a silencer for it so I can shoot it in town . HELP BIG DENNY:clapping::clapping:

How much noise could an air rifle make if an air rifle could make noise?

The good ones have a lot of power and make some noise. There are silencers made for those.

Silencer for air rifle???

Try putting the muzzle in a plastic "coke" bottle with the large end cut out. Saw it used in a movie on a prop pistol.:hunter:

I don't know what caliber you have but if its got a loud crack to it try using a heavier pellet the lower velocity of the heavier pellet will reduce the sound a lot ( but a silencer works wonders as long as you stay under the speed of sound )
