Anyone running Progressive 416 air shocks on tri glide? Do they raise the back end? Do you like the ride? I tried a search but found nothing.

if you are talking about the ones made by "Progressive". I have them on my 2010 Triglide and it did improve the ride but did not raise the backend. I have the 13" ones.

The Progressive 416's are a good shock. They do come in different lengths (at 1/2 inch increments), so you can choose a length to raise, lower, or keep the ride the same height.

They perform like a shock should. There is actually shock action along with the air suspension for the weight adjustment. They will hold up to 100# pressure. Personally I prefer the air suspension over the spring, it's easily adjustable as oposed to loading a spring. JMHO.......
Money well spent.

Monroe Shocks

I found out (accidentally) that the Monroe air shock (pn 785) that is used on corvettes up to about 1982 is being used on baggers. I wonder if they would fit the rear of the TG. They are pretty inexpensive, I got a pair for just over $50 delivered. They are for my pi$$ poor Bushtec trailer.
