2019 Scorched Orange

Was at a local HD shop wanting to see a Scorched Orange Tri Glide,salesman told me good luck Harley cancelled all bikes that color don't know if its indefinitely or just temporary.Or could he be talking out of his you know what instead of his mouth.

Not sure about that information...but we have a 2019 Fat Bob softail in that color on the showroom floor :Shrug: maybe it just effects the trike models :Shrug::Shrug:

Looks a lot like my 15' amber whiskey with some nice denim and gloss black accents.

High Desert HD had a 2019 Ultra in the orange and denim black sitting on the showroom floor and it was drawing a lot of attention on 2019 roll out day. They hadn't gotten in their 2019 trikes yet when we were there but I know they have some now. Going there this afternoon so will find out if the orange trike is on hold or not.

Salesman at Cowboy Harley in Beaumont sent me pictures of a Scorched Orange Tri Glide and Freewheeler being unloaded today. Beautiful Trikes!

The only color I like in the 2019 is the vivid black, would have to see the other colors in person to decide, but I know that orange would be on the bottom of my list, just me.

My dealer says his is coming in 1-2 weeks.

I'm anxiously awaiting......... seems to me that is the same (or close) to the

same ORANGE that came out on the FLHXXX in 2010/2011 but it never really

sold well.

I don't think the OP was "talking out of his you know what" at all. I talked with the GM at the local dealership in the Denver area and he confirmed that the orange is on hold because of a problem getting the paint. There's a SG in the dealership that's orange so they must have had some paint that was correct to start off, which is why there's some of them around, but now seem to be having problems.

I like the Scorched Orange Color. Really like that Two-Tone Paint Scheme on the Freewheeler, goes with its laid back Hot Rod style body lines. That same scheme doesn't really appeal to me on the Tri Glide, sort of like putting flames on a 63 Imperial. A Scorched Orange Tri Glide with that Black done as a Pinstripe would be more to my liking. Then it's not looking so much like an overweight Hot Rod, but more subtle like a Bad A$$ Long Haul Tourer, at least to me.

I saw a Street Glide in Scorched Orange and Black Denim the other day at Hawkeye HD in Coralville, Iowa. Looks Ok to me. But I wouldn't have one. I like the Twisted Cherry color best.

I like the blue colors, mine is the Cosmic Blue Pearl, but that orange is very nice.
