2016 trade or not to 2019 tri glide?

I have a 2016 tri glide that I bought new and have all the upgraded stuff that I like. DK rear shocks,Vance Hines exhaust and other stuff. 35k miles.
A friend bought a 2019 tri glide 3 months ago and it's all stock. He doesn't ride much at all. Bike has 3k on it. Friend wants to trade even up. My cousin bought the bike new and sold to my friend so I know it was never wrecked. I'd need to do all the upgraded stuff to it. I do really like mine now. Is it worth the trade?

That's kind of a tough one, I would wonder why would he want to trade for an older one with a lot more miles? Maybe he likes your color better and more "ginger bread" added to yours? I just bought an 019 and we love it, with the M8 motor. By 019 I think they got most of the bugs out of the earlier M8's.
I think IMO I would definitely trade to get the upgrades, but I would check with the dealer to see if the recall on the Traction control software has been performed. I'm sure that it was done, as mine had been done back in 2020, good luck Man!

I would look a buying and swapping all your stuff over then selling yours. I would look at a 20 or 21 to make sure the oiling issues are dealt with. That’s what I did with my 14 to 21 trade
