2019 boom gts and iPod help

Just recently traded my 2017 Triglide to a 2019 Model with a boom GTS. Will not play my iPod 7 generation iPod. It says version 2 old and not supported. What iPod is compatible with the boom gts. Will a iPod touch work. What are people using.

I'm so audio tech challenged that I will never buy a new car or bike - I'll stick with my 2014 TG - that one still has me confused.

Boy, I am right there with ya. 2016 TG here. Still haven't figured it all out .

I'll stick to my 16,it took like forever to figure out how to record my music to a flash drive and it works fine. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
