2015 goldwing lehman monarch ii auxiliary rear shock

What should be the setting of the auxiliary rear shock ? (PRELOAD)

You have a Monarch II with a Champion axle, Lehman body frame and Lehman body.

The brakes are from a Honda automobile.

Lehman built a couple dozen if these before Champion took over production.

Whenever I built a Monarch II straight axle with an auxiliary shock with the standard or heavy-duty spring, I always set the auxiliary at maximum (4th setting). Then I would modulate the OEM at 12-15 with the standard spring and 7-9 with the heavy-duty spring.

Stock OEM spring is .500" and the 1000 - 1200 is .535"
