Progressive no longer makes the 416 model shocks.

I have 1 (one) rebuild kit (enough for 2 shocks) left for the 416.

You can adapt a pair of 13" Harley air shocks or just use a 13.5" coil-over.

Thanks Don't know if the 416 s are worth rebuild. going to pull off tonight or tomorrow. I think they may be seized. Been looking at progressive 412-4223c coil over. But didn't pull the trigger on that yet. Don.t know if motor trike used original equipment shock.

Where did you get the number 416-1633 ?

That (416-1633GLA 13.4") is the air shock used on the GL1500 and by Lehman too .....

So it would make sense that the 412-4223 would also fit.

I believe that is a 13.5" for the Valkyrie without looking up the number.

Sometimes when trying to get the air shocks to stop leaking around the fittings one will inadvertently push the line into the shock too far.

This causes the piston to get hung up on the extra air line within causing the shock to get stuck.

416-1633 is the number on a sticker on the shock no gla on it.

Yes after removing the shock I found another sticker with the gla on it. yes both shocks are siezed.

How much are the kits and what do you think my chances are. It looks like chisel marks on the lower part of the housing for some reason.

After hours on the internet and making several phone calls I finally landed a set of 412-4223c coil over shocks from Saber Cycle. The lead time for progressive to ship these to suppliers is like August 27. Saber happened to have a pair on the shelf. Should have them by the weekend. I will follow up with any adjustment issues.

Thanks for the input!

How did the shocks work out for you? I just bought a pair myself.
