I attempted to remove the license plate bracket on my 2023 Tri Glide Ultra to install a new license plate frame. One of the 3 screws holding the OEM braket is stripped. Does anyone know how to fix this. I can get bracket off by cutting the head off the screw. How can I replace the screw?

Hard to say without seeing it. If it's stripped I would cut the head off and remove the bracket. You should be able to remove the screw with locking pliers. If the socket is also turning it will be harder to do, but once both are out replace them or clean up with tap and die.

If the socket the screw is in is part of a larger assembly or not removable, clean up with tap or replace assembly. I put a license plate cover on mine, but I did not remove the bracket, so I don't know how it's attached. I will say the dealer stripped out the white nutserts in my license plate bracket and I had to remove them and tap them out to 5/16.

The bracket attaches to the trunk door. The screws only screw into the fiberglass. I could add a license plate cover and not deal with the stripped screw in the bracket. If I do this I will replace those white nutserts with bolts and acorn nuts.
