Just put on a BT 46 front tire on my HTS 1800 Goldwing trike and I can't say enough about the ride. WAY better than my Avon trike tire. So glad I didn't waste big bucks on another Avon.

Avon still, to my knowledge, hasn't released any new tires. I think a lot of us will be going back to the BT46.Just put on a BT 46 front tire on my HTS 1800 Goldwing trike and I can't say enough about the ride. WAY better than my Avon trike tire. So glad I didn't waste big bucks on another Avon.
OK, your response was quite short - not needed. I think most of us here will mount the BT46, which is a rear tire. backwards.Avon still, to my knowledge, hasn't released any new tires. I think a lot of us will be going back to the BT46.

to each his own....I will never mount one backwards. An accident & one wise Insurance rep or an attorney may rule against youThe BT46 is a rear tire - so, the treads are designed to perform better when accelerating.
Front tires don't accelerate but do need the added tread for stopping. So, if you reverse a rear tire, all of that accelerating tread becomes useful for stopping.
