removing front tire

I have a 2014 RS wing and need to remove front tire.How is everyone jacking the front end up? Remove bottom engine shield and jack there somewhere?

I use a small floor jack under the left crash bar and raise it until I can get a jack stand under the right crash bar. Then I slide another jack stand next to the floor jack and lower the jack with the left crash bar resting on the jack stand.

This is a very solid setup.

I'm not a fan of lifting under the engine. It wasn't designed for that.

I've lifted my front bike (TRIKE) under the engine for years....never any problems

I always used a car ramp drive trike upon slide jack under motor I do use a one by six jack it up then pull the ramp out been doing it for 10 years.epper:

I jack it up under the engine

Jack it up under engine (maybe if this will make you feel better/cut a 3 x3 inch piece of plywood) and put under engine then jack it up so the wood takes all the pressure... just a suggestion!!
