New Guy from Reno!

Just joined the forum and wanted to introduce myself. I ride this 2012 Tri Glide. Also ride a 2003 Harley Wide Glide. I've been riding two-wheelers for 47 years. I bought a trike because of a bum knee from college and semi pro hockey. I'm still getting used to the trike's steering effort and wide width. Only put my feet down three times the day I rode it home. Hopefully I'll remember to put my feel down the next time I'm on two's. I'm a gear head and do all of my own maintenance. I look forward to conversing with y'all. Thanks for having me!

Hey Geoff, welcome aboard and to the 3 wheel world. I believe I’ve seen you on another site. I went from a 14 TG to a 21 this last year but I haven’t put enough miles on it yet. Mrs and I are planning a NC to northern Michigan on the 3rd week of September. I’ve already done most of the upgrades to mine or swapped out stuff from my 14 to this one. You’ll enjoy the stability and after a while I’m pretty sure you’ll end up leaving the WG there and picking the TG more and more. I ended up selling my 07 Electra Glide to a guy I know. I had 112000 miles on it and had it since new. It was hard to part with but I wasn’t riding it enough to justify keeping it.

Rode my Wide Glide for the first time in several weeks. Have to say I missed the power, ease of cornering and the lean. I'll likely sell the bike next spring, but for now I'm enjoying them both.
