Dave here from Jackson,.Michigan. 73 years young and sold my 06 Glide Classic and hopefully by Sunday I am picking up a new to me 2015 Harley Freewheeler. My wife has been bugging me to try 3 wheels as she doesnt feel safe on the 2 wheeler these days and her main point was if we are going to ride into our 80's :) Got what I think is a real good deal on the trike so why not give it a shot.

By the way . For many years I worked at the plant that designed the quick disconnect for the Harley fuel tanks. I actually helped design build and programmed the machines that assembled the Q/D . My wife was in Quality Control there. FYI the Q/D was redesigned for Harley as it was originally designed for marine gas tanks. The company I worked for pioneered that assembly. Sadly after 31 years they decided they didnt need me any longer. Honestly looking back it could have happened sooner. I made a repair kit to sell on Ebay and it was going well till the Chinese figured it out like every thing else they copy. They still dont know the proper o-ring sizes but I do ;)

Dave .....Welcome to TT from Ohio

Welcome to TrikeTalk Dave! You will notice that driving a trike is a bit different from a bike. Before you go out riding down the road, try going to a large parking lot and practice especially turns so you don't get surprised.

I rode a Triglide once and I do know they are different . I did ride this Freewheeler around the owners yard a bit and it seemed a bit easier turning. We shall see. I have a 28ft toy hauler and we usually haul to a destination and ride from there as we love to camp also . When I got this T/H I specifically got one that had ample room width wise for the trike. I am excited for this new adventure but even though I have the cash waiting the weather is not cooperating. I at least want to get it back home here soon and although I do have the hauler I just been waiting for a day that there is minimal to no salt on the roads. I have dirty vehicles :)

Thats the color I wanted but no good prices so I am buying a black one. The silver or a gray would match my truck and hauler :)
