My wife's 2017 Freewheeler is still on the original battery as far as I know. She bought the trike used in October 2018. It shares time on the battery tender with the other two bikes.

If so she is on borrowed time. Twice I have had batteries suddenly die and strand me. It is how I became familiar with Uber

Yeah, I do not like surprises
I will probably pick up a new battery soon and have it ready just in case, Battery Plus is my go to always

I put a new battery in on Friday from Batteries plus, my OEM battery was done for after 3 years

I actually have a lithium battery for a Freewheeler that someone gave me. New in box.

I just changed my battery last season while at a TRIKE RALLY in Vermont, I was lucky enough that it died while at the hotel, we were ALL staying at, and one of the attendee's let me use his pickup truck, to go purchase another new battery at a NAPA auto parts store maybe eight miles away.. THANK YOU DOUG IF YOUR READING THIS POST.....It's been on a battery maintainer when sitting in my garage....100% of the time when I'm not ride'n..
