HD Factory Battery Tender Lead

Purchased a new Battery Tender for FW, plugged in, no good.

Tested HD factory installed lead, coming back dead on back feed.

Installed Battery Tender jumper leads directly to battery, tested alive on back feed, connected tender, working.

Tried following HD lead but cannot find where it goes or an in-line fuse.

Found an old post where it was determined that the "PA 20amp fuse" was defective.

Is this fuse the culprit?

Does it power anything else important, before I pull it out?

P.S.

The battery post screws are horrible.

So small and do not seem to leave to much room to add accessory leads.

What year?

If it is a factory wired tender the P&A fuse is the fuse you should look at

I Looked into the fuse panel and this is what I have:

1 - Radio Power (20a), empty

5 - Cooling (10a), empty

8 - Cooling Relay, empty

4 - P&A (20a), found a 15a fuse, BLOWN.

Replaced, like & kind for now, Battery Tender working.

Will replace with 20a, when I get to an auto parts store.

Does "P&A" = parts and accessories?

Can those empty fuse holders somehow be used to add/protect accessories?
