Love the factory springer front end. Had one on my '59 Pan. Could the current springer that HD makes work on a 2021 Freewheeler? I think it would look classic, but wondering if it would ruin the handling. Looks is one thing, but it has to perform properly.

Hi John. I can't help with the question of a current springer working on a Freewheeler, but I agree that it would look cool.

If you have pictures of the Pan with a springer, I would love to see them, I have a '60 with a Super Glide front end.

I believe the Freewheeler is to heavy for a springer front end. Just like a Road King is to heavy. Also, The front end is not designed for ABS brakes. I heard that's the reason why HD quit selling them. If you want to spend enough money to make it work. Post some pixs when you get done. I bet it will look killer.

This is a Softtail Springer Trike conversion, but it gives the overall idea what one from Harley could look like.

And this guys custom build is more what I'm looking for, though I would be concerned about the stopping power of that front wheel. I do like my dual disks up front.

Haven't experienced the ABS yet.
