Air cleaner noise

Hello, I put a stage 2 kit on my 2017 Tri Glide I put the torque cam on. I also put the Screamin Eagle ventitalor extreme air cleaner on. I already have Vance and Hines mufflers on it. I seem to get alot off noise when I get on it. I think some is from the air cleaner and maybe from the cam. Some of the noise sounds almost likes rattle. No extra noise when cruizing just when I get on it. It has been tuned with the Sreamin Eagle tuner. Anyone else notice this? Thank You

You may be hearing noise from the rockers or lifters. I noticed the same thing after I changed my stock air box to a DK customs air cleaner.

In a couple of days you'll get used to it.

Expect to hear more mechanical noise with an open air cleaner, not to worry

just ride it. Part of the EPA is getting Harley to reduce their motorcycles mechanical noises.

I have screaming eagle air, tuner, and pipes with 447 cam in 2020triglide. I don’t notice any such sounds when at idle or get on it. Be Safe BK

Just a guess here......Any chance what you are hearing is Engine Knock [Pre Ignition]...

Are you using Hi-Test gas....93 Octane..:Shrug:...

That should not be part of the problem unless the knock sensors are not working correctly
