I want to order a pair of bulbs for my 2011 TG, but it is 200 miles away and I keep getting different bulb numbers on different sites. Can someone tell me if my TG has 1157 or 3157 bulbs in the tail lights? I found a site that has a pair of LED bulbs for $55,

But I need to order the correct #. Thanks for any help.

I saw these bulbs on a display and they are the brightest LED I have ever seen.

After blowing about 3 sets of standard bulbs in the past yearI replaced my 1157's with the l.e.d. lights that fit in the 1157 socket ($20.00 at auto zone.) been in for about 3 months. no further trouble.

I replaced both lens assemblies with Radiantz P/N 9903-18. These also strobe when you apply the brakes.
YES they are more $$$ but they really wake up the cagers. :D

Thanks for that info Bob, but I already have a strobe control box that a friend made for me a while back, it allows me to do a bunch of different flashes.

The bulbs on my 2012 is a 3157. I don't know if there are any with a 1157 or not. If you get the LED's be sure to get the proper bulb. There are two different wiring LEDS use so be sure to check that with the sellers. They both fit the 3157 socket but are wired differently.
Also ask if you will need a resister for the turn circuit. It also affects the security system.

no 2008 ultra/ motor trike conversion with 1157bulbs in tombstone lenses

I went with the Kuryakyn Low Profile red LED Taillight Conversion w/o license plate window part # 5437. They are plug and play.
