I know this question is usually followed buy "its up to your tastes" I haven't bought my new trike yet but I would like some ideas of what options would be good to give the dealer to either throw in or discount when I buy my trike. I'm not big on doing the harder ad-ons my self. I prefer the dealer doing that. Since dealer's are at MSRP or more I feel the extra's might be the way to go. Any suggestions?

Well as far as what the Dealer may or may not be willing to throw in or discount is an ify subject at best. Normally when dealers are willing to do things like that is when they are wanting to entice a buyer to buy the bike that is sitting on the show room floor.
Your looking at a 2014 Tri Glide. I live with in 50 miles of 5 Harley dealers and all of them have people waiting for a new Tri Glide. So they are in demand. They don't need to sweeten the deal to get some one to buy one. If you don't buy one because they don't throw in or discount any accessories or add ons they don't care. The next person to walk in the door will buy one with out any throw ins or discounts added to the deal. With people waiting to get one they are in high demand. At that point they don't need to sweeten the deal to sell one. But any accessories one does buy at the time they purchase a new bike in most cases the dealer will install them with no labor charge.
What accessories do you want? Well you already stated the answer to that but if you can get them to throw in or discount anything I'd try for the more costly things that you may like. What they may offer to do all depends on how bad they want to make the sale. Ask what they may be willing to do.
If your looking at a 2013 they have sitting on the show room floor they would probably be willing to sweeten the deal nicely to get it sold. But I don't they will do a whole lot to sweeten the deal on a 2014. It all depends on how much the dealer wants to make the sale and how good you are at negotiating what you want. Good luck.

Thanks Geezzer. I'm not going to be ready to buy until early next year. I'm a cash kinda guy and prefer not to finance. So maybe with winter coming the dealers might be willing to do more. Your right, buying at this time is not the best time if you want a deal. I always start early when it comes to buying things like this. That's why getting all the info and advise I can helps me out.
