Winter Mods to my 2015 Tri Glide

Does it have some metallic in it? Bet it will be killer in the sun! Nice work!
Yes, it is a tricoat. Metallic basecoat, tinted clear coat , clear coat. It really pops in the sun (which we are not going to see ,if the reports are correct , for a week and a half.)

Tire

Avon trike tire is in. Took front wheel off tonite .I will drop it off at the shop tomorrow to get tire mounted. Hope to get everything back together on Saturday. I'm going to order Custom Dynamic LED tail lights tomorrow Smoked lenses.I picked up the HD smoked inserts and lenses for the front last week.

Just a little something to remember also. If you have a lot of heavy metallic or a heavy cover with large flake you will have to put your XM antenna somewhere other than under the paint. LOL !
I know which is most important, but have seen a few fighting that problem.

I installed a larger antenna last year and mounted it on the top of the dash. With the poor buffering on these radios reception is still poor in areas with trees or other obstructions.

Finally Done...... sort of

Took some pictures of the completed paint job. I think it came out pretty nice.A lot of bodywork was necessary to make sure the factory graphics did not telegraph through the new paint. Not a trace left .Still needs some lettering and maybe some pinstriping. When the Custom Dynamics laydown LED tail lights come in I will install them along with the smoked front turn signals.

Good News Bad News

Well , good news, got the trike all together Tuesday night including front and rear LED lights. Bad news ,Apparently Tuesday night after finishing in the shop I had chest pains .Went to work Wednesday ,Had them again only worse , went to ER had tests, took 75 mile ride in an ambulance "Full lights and sirens "to the UVM Medical Center ,found one blocked artery put in a stent .They said it was a mild heart attack .Now home recovering. Should be ok by the time the weather warms up.

Pray for a full recovery, your lucky you didn't take to long to know something was wrong. You can day dream for riding to pass the time.

Keep you in our prayers

Now you have time to really think about who and what is really important in your life. ThumbUpLive every day and every minute without regret. I'm sure every breath now has new meaning a gift so to speak. God Bless and when you are allowed. :AGGHH: ride safely fearless

Dang Wayne, that was a rude awakening, glad you got through it and on the road to recovery.

Glad you caught it. In a couple of weeks you will be good to go. Be careful if the put you on blood thinners. I had to be for a year. Carried those blood clot bandages with me everywhere. Never had to use them. Good luck

Take it easy,Wayne, and make sure to go through cardiac therapy. Trust me,it is not a waste of time. I survived a major heart attack in June 2013 and the aftermath almost convinced me my riding days were over, even sold our first trike. Big mistake!
You will be good as new before you know it.

Here ya go Wayne, a 19 with the stock fender. Doesn't exactly match the rears but I still kinda like it. I think it even makes the stock fender look smaller.

That really looks good,Rich. Your front fender looks like an aftermarket unit, now. ThumbUp
Just need some custom inserts on those brake calipers.
