What you riding?

It looks as if this thread is pretty old, but since I just joined this forum and as of Monday May 17th, bought a new (11 miles on it) 2010 Street Glide Trike, Red Hot Sunglo from Smokey Mtn HD in Maryville, TN! Friday went to Georgetown Cycles (custom specialist) ordered a chrome bumper with LED lights, mud flaps with LED lights, chrome fender trim. They suggested the leather fender bra, but cringed when he told me he would have to drill the fender to attach them. No bra yet! I'm in SE Tennessee (Garden Spot of the World)

From one ol Tenn boy to another... the bra will beat the heck out of your paint. It gets worse if you put it on your tank or fairing. Glad you didn't go there.

New to the forum, but have already received good info on what to get for a front tire for our 2003 Goldwing, 2006 Champion Trike. We didn't know any better, and replaced the tire with the standard radial Dunlop last time. It doesn't seem to be holding up very well. Thanks for all the help. Unfortunately way out in West Texas, (El Paso) good shops are hard to come by.

My wife has a 2000 Valkyire that I built the frame for and instaled a U S trikes body on it. I have a 98 Valk that was rear ended so I built everything from seat back. Love them both and now looking for raked trees for them.

Just ordered a 2010 blue/silver Ultra Trike from H-D. It's supposed to be in in a couple of days. Looking forward to it. This will be my 1st trike. Up until now I have only ridden 2-wheels (between 10,000-26,000 miles per year for last 1/4 century). I am on Long Island, NY. My wife is looking forward to it also. I only got a short test ride and a parking lot ride of a 1950's H-D servicar. The dealers really don't make it easy to check it out. I expect a bit of a learning curve to get the handling. 1st highway trip will be down to Virginia for 4th of July weekend. Thinking of riding to Fairbanks, Alaska summer 2011.

Hi Bikerbozo. A big welcome to our nutty family :D (I'm referring to ThirdWheel when I say "nutty"!!!!). I'm betting a ride on an old servicar is TONS different than the TriGlide will be! I can't even imagine they think that would give you a real taste of triking.... But that's ok, if you enjoyed that you will love the new trike!!!!! Take your time and expect a couple of hundred miles before you feel comfortable, then look out world! there will be another happy triker on the highway! :D

Hi eveyone, I'm a new member that is riding a 2010 Harley Street Glide and I live in CT John. Has anyone heard of a group in CT that is just Trike owners? I've seen quite a few in New London county and would like to see if we can organize something.
