Not being a pro basketball fan, and temperatures in the upper 40s today, I decided to install my new license plate bracket. Instructions called for removal of the red reflector below the plate, I figured a way to keep it and I'll try it this way for a while.

What I did on Christmas afternoon...rode the Tri Glide from Brevard,NC to Charleston, SC 275 miles in the rain and low 40s to visit daughter. Yesterday, when I made reservations they were calling for sunny and 57. LOL

LOVE those baby Moons !!! I have the other Harley center cap..... Still looking for a pair of full steel wheels I can powder coat black and maybe use a full size cap.

good luck on finding the wheels you are looking for without paying some big money to have them custom made to your needs..Maybe someday they will find you and cheap...

Was no snow for Xmas this year, so took a cold ride with my Santa hat on. Went past some of my friends house's. Some people were out walking their dogs or just out walking. Got a lot of goofy looks. Some people did wave. This weather is rare. Maybe I will get to ride on New Years Eve.

What no snacks...LOL

I had a large breakfast of home made buttermilk pancakes with Vermont maple syrup and some nice crisp bacon I bought at Cracker Barrel. Had to pace myself because dinner was a nice steak dinner at my mom and dads place.

Saturday we supported the homeless Vets by handing out clothing and food and on Sunday we escorted a small group of homeless Vets to a new halfway house. VERY GOOD WEEKEND !!!

Was to follow wife to moms house for dinner about 2 hrs. after she left. Beautiful day, sun shining, about 60 so decided to take trike. So pulled out of drive, made a right and at the next right I made a left. Showed up for dinner 1 and a half hours late. Could not convince her that I got lost. She was mad but later she said that she was more mad that I did not come over and pick her up so we could get lost together. Today we will take both trikes and just go somewhere.

Watched my granddaughter (3) open a zillion presents Santa Clause brought for her. Ate too much, laughed too much, and danced with Charlotte (granddaughter) all afternoon. Grandchildren are truly God's blessing to us old farts.
