What did you do to your Trike this week?

Not there any more! Am at my Pink Palace with 80+F weather.
Pete, you better have your push-em snow truck finished, you are going to get slammed again on top of the 13" from the last storm. Sunday through Monday they are predicting 20" of the white stuff for parts of NH! Yikes! Good Luck NH Trikers!

Boy, don't you just hate Honey Do Lists! LOL
In the spring, I have to plant all my bulbs, before I can take the trike out, because they are in the way!
That's why retired people do not have enough time in their day, do this and that, before we can smell the roses!

Brought it home Friday!!!
Brought it home, New..After work done.. or from storage?
If it is new, we need to see pictures of your new ride..
If it was work, what did you have done, any new bling? LOL
New bling makes your baby go faster, did you know that?
We in NH are still waiting for spring to get here, it has been warm, but snow still around!

WOW, a Honda Roadster. You have to let us know how it handles!
So, question I have is, do you lean into the corners, like some of the trikes with front two wheels or those it turn?
Please keep us posted on your new ride.
Thanks for sharing!

Are you putting air horns on? GL1800 horns are loud!
Did you use graphite to lub your cables? If you have
photos please post.
Thanks,
Rosy

Mines a 1500.Just using blaster dual tone electric horns. It only has 1 now.I probably should study lube more but its missing the pull cable and i'm adding it back.I can take pics of the install.

OK took a few pics of the install.I guess i'm lucky not having corning lights at least for this purpose.I put a relay under the right fairing pocket.I made a few L brackets first. On the left I just mounted it the mounting bolt for the engine guard. On the right I used a P clamp and mounted the bracket to that. The horns are where the lights would be so there was room in there.I used a high and low note 130db Freeway Blasters and compared to my single stocker the improvement was huge.20170224_105526_zpscxkt4ay0.jpg20170224_105515_zpsgjvojnbv.jpg20170224_105454_zps9aoek8r3.jpg20170224_103012_zpsu8motj1j.jpg

Great pictures, Thanks..
It is very nice to make your own hardware to mount the horns.
I bet no one will stand in your way when you "toot"! LOL
Again thanks for the pictures!

Your welcome.I tend to do things with what I have when possible.People don't react to horns much but it will get the attention of critters and buddies as I go by.

Good point, if you are living in Miami, you would use your horns all day long. Don't daddle at the stop lights, you will get the horns, never seen anything like that any other place I have been to! LOL Must be a high paced life in Miami!
Enjoy them, my Buddy put Awuga horns in his hot rod, so I know who it is going by our house when I hear them! Neighbors may not like it, but I think it is funny!

I still need to gave it done..please let us know what was entailed in the work, and the results.
When was your recall issued? I need to find mine again and see what the date on the letter was.
Please keep us posted.

On your trike, what was the recommended mileage for the fluid change. 25,000 or 50,000?
Thanks
Rosy

I was in P.R. Once and it was like a symphony of horns blasting all day and all night...:xzqxz:

It'll be probably 3 weeks before it's completed. The date on the recall paperwork shows Dec 2015.

Whoa, three weeks, WHY?
Is the worst case cenerio a secondary master cylinder replacement or more than that?
Thanks for the info.

Yes, Puerto Rico, is worse than Miami. As they say, they live by the horn, they die by the horn! Because after a while nobody pays attention to them!

Yep, I remember driving up to the top of El Yungue, And a local was driving, Every fifty feet he was hitting his horn, And he had to do that to keep cars that were coming the other way on their side of the road..:xzqxz:

It is better to play cards while you take a taxi in Puerto Rico, because you would have a heart attack looking through the windshield! LOL

WOW, talk about backlog! That is insane, but if you are good at what you do, expect backlog of work, or you are the only one in the area!
I guess I am lucky because we have several area dealers that are good at what they do, but the best was my tuner, and unfortunately he passed a couple years ago!
Yes, please us in the loop as to what they did for the Goldwing recall. I know the first recall, my trike passed with flying colors, but don't know if there are other things they are checking for this last recall.
Thanks.
Off to the Snowbird Gathering in Ocala, Florida!
