What did you do to Your Tri-Glide Today?

Jacked up the trikes front and polished the front and rear wheels, and lower forks with Zephyr Pro 40.... then applied Turtle Wax F21 Tire Shine to the tires. Cleaned the Trike Saddlebags with Mother's VLR Cleaner/Conditioner.

She's all dressed up, but Mother Nature won't let her go!

Cooling Fan Wiring Harness

I installed my version of the Trike Mid-step and installed my mighty mites fans. Wired them thru a relay that is powered thru the ignition switch. Found a local supplier for the Deutsch electrical connectors

Installed a Blind spot mirror on the Left side mirror. Haven't gone for a ride yet. Not sure if I like them or not.

Just got back home from 175 mile ride to nowhere special. The spot mirrors seen to work just fine. Still not keen on the looks of them though. Got home, just in time to watch the Navy Blue Angels practicing in the sky. Got a big air show here in Davenport this weekend.

Ray. I sure would like to see a picture of your version of the mid-step. I need it on my trike, but kind of pricey.

Tour Pack Relocation

Wife said she was uncomfortable riding because she couldn't extend her legs out far enough. I installed the Kuryakyn adjustable Hi-Way pegs for her but she was still uncomfortable after riding for awhile. I told her I can't move her feet out any further but I could move her butt back so I installed the tour pack relocation kit from DK Custom Products. The instructions are well written and the kit was easy to install. I also installed the Kuryakyn filler pad to fill the gap between the backrest and the seat. Had to purchase longer screws for the filler pad because the OEM screws were to short. I purchased 10-24x3/4 stainless steel screws and they fit perfect. Now I have to take the wife for a ride and see if it helps her.

I am sure she will like it much better. Set mine up at 2" back and it made a world of difference for my wife.

Pretty sure she is going to like the Tour Pak Relocation.

I don't see how any adult passenger, any size, is going to be comfortable long term in the space given in OEM configuration.

Fuzzy.. just like the automatic driving cars.... you need the motorcycle version. I don’t know how you are going to keep your eyes on the road for looking at all the gadgets and gauges you’ve got in front of you.... :xzqxz:

The reason for leaving the PV on all the time is to monitor the head temps etc? Assuming it has tuned the bike where ya want it...but I forget about the altitude changes in your part of the world....

I changed all my fluids over to RedLine today. Getting it ready for the trip to Sturgis. I can ride the ST in the mean time, so I dont need a oil change when were out there. Had fun taking the filter off. The oil was changed before I bought it.... The brain dead SOB had it so tight, I drove a punch in it 5 places to get it unscrewed... Thinking about a filter relocating system for the next change. With the cooler lines and by air filter bypass hose across there, this was the worst one I've ever had to change the filter...

Changed all fluids after our ride with Lola out west. New Avon came & will have it put on, while dealer go's over the Tri for the next 2 rides & gives it a good check. Will try some "Ride-On" in this tire. If I remember right (CRS), you seniors know what that is... this new Avon looks much more husky than the old style Avon.
