What did you do to Your Tri-Glide Today?

Did my coffee run in the morning, Then road to my sons house to give his horse a apple......Continued up the road to my other sons house to let the dog out...

Then went shopping for the wife...And i didn't do too bad, She had about 8 items on her list....Only got one wrong ...Me' I Consider that a successful shopping trip- ....She' Her nope!...:gah:..

Checked the fluids, aired the tires and adjusted the suspension, now the first break in the weather I'm ready to jump on it and head to Kerrville. Still calling for snow in this neck of the woods

Battery slow start...

Out with the old and in with the new. 7 yrs. Old past time for a replacement not fooling with an old battery. I have not one issue replacing it. This old battery has had a great life. I do not plan on getting stranded. Ride safe Fred

Just add today I rode the trike to the office. At 60mph I was at 2,500 rpms in sixth gear. To much traffic could not get to 70mph. Just a good place to start the power curve for a Twin cam believe. Travel safe Fred

Hmmmm, mine is turning 2500 at 60 as well. You said you went with taller tires, correct?

yes that is what the gages are telling me. I will next time out put mph and tach on the PV And see if I have anything different. You may want to count the teeth on your front pulley (31) possibly. Remember OEM SPEEDO IS USUALLY IN ACURATE

Most vehicles Speedometers read faster than actual speed by design....

Yeah, I got mine from my FP3 on MPH and RPM. Maybe my gear was changed in the past before I purchased it.

If you have an old GPS unit, tape it to your bike and take a ride. It will tell you how fast you're going at any RPM and in any Gear.

I have several but not registered like Radar units. Not really an issue. As soon as I find my note book I have all the data logged when I did the tire swap. Travel safe Fred

Aquatic AV

Well I started to install the new head unit in the old Harley install was easy now I need to splice and solder 4 little wires for the rear speakers. The fine work will be done in broad day light. LOL other than that easy peasy. So if anyone could use a HD OEM radio with CB I could make them a great deal on one. ride safe Fred

Finished up the Stereo swap, the OEM was dying a slow death what a difference the new Aquatic AV makes. Easy to install blue tooth music from phone and headsets. Only loose CB which I never did use. If anyone needs a cb unit for an OEM HEAD UNIT let me know ride safe Fred pictures to follow

The weather heads are saying there will be a freeze out here tomorrow , Then from then on the fat lady of the winter will sing her song:dwarf:..........

I had some time today to install the DK Rider Floorboard extensions, 2 problems arose of course. It took me at least 10 minutes and a box cutter to get the parts out of the packaging from DK, lol, and I had to get a breaker bar to get a couple of the bolts out of the frame, man they were in there with lots of lock-tite. Also installed an extended shift lever on the toe part.

The rider floorboard extensions really help with my wife's knees.
