UPS delivered some new shiny parts today for the trike.

Got home late Wednesday night from a Mn trip. I have been out riding ever since. I can tell you one thing, I was not happy getting snowed in while in Mn:p

Iam strongly thinking of trading my 17 in on a Billiard Teal Freewheeler

You won't regret it Jack. I was very happy going from the 103 to the 114. Power & tranny shifting is so much smoother. Hell ya can't take it with ya ($$$$)

Start pulling your add-ons off now & you will be done by May 1st.:D

Got out for a few hours on a great almost 80 degree day.

Although it's been about a week I installed HD's Airwing Luggage Rack. Not that I carry any luggage, my long trip days are over, but it gave me the ability to put on Custom Dynamics Airwing LED strip so I could light the back up a tad more.

Today Sam the UPS man delivered a Custom Dynamics ProBeam LED headlight that I'll install sometime between tomorrow and the weekend. That'll give me C.D. LED's all around, I've already got their taillights and I swapped the ProBeam front turn signals off of my Low Rider when I traded it in for the trike. That is one great company, excellent products and customer service.

Check out the CD brake light modulator. It is 1 of my best add ons. I have had numerous riders comment on how it catches their attention. I have it set to pulse for a few seconds, then go solid for a few seconds, then pulse again.

Very easy plug & play install.

I put that in when I did the tail lights. I agree about it grabbing attention. I have mine set to 4 flashes.

I put the Tour pak modulator on my Tri glide and had a cop pull me over one my way home from work one day just to ask me about it. I have mine set on 9, X-Blaster constant strobe.

Today, I gave Kim's Freewheeler a wash and polish today after winter hibernation. Installed the visor style trim on the headlight and turn signals this morning. Took a short video before setting out for a short ride.

New Rear Tires

Replaced rear tires with Goodyear Comfortreds. Original tires had 37,000 miles and still could have gone several thousand more miles but were 7 years old so replaced them.

Also checked drive belt for tension and looked for any damage/wear. Still looks good. I like to check it about once a month.

Ah-HAA!!

Danny!! Do I see a possibility that Freewheeler might get on the road for Kerrville next week??

Would like to but I doubt it. I think my future is local rides around here, no more trips. Unless of course I end up with a new Can Am.

Hope everyone has a safe and fun trip.

A Sad Day here in St.Louis.

I am sad to report that due to ongoing health issues, I am selling my 2017 vivid black Freewheeler. I won't get into the health issues, but they are getting worse, not better.

I tried to sell it outright to 2 local HD dealerships & did not get an offer I considered fair. I contacted my most awesome 2nd son in Durango, Colorado who owns the Million Dollar Highway Saloon in the same parking lot with Durango Harley Davidson. He is good friend with the owner & contacted him about my trike & he was looking at buying 50 used bikes/trikes for the upcoming riding season. After talking with him & sending a few picks, he made an offer over the phone and is getting it shipped from STL to Durango by HaulBikes.

I drop it off Tuesday at Doc's HD & the shipping company will take it from there. We have done the paperwork via Next day Air

I will get 1 final, farewell ride in Tuesday morning, 4/27/21 on what is forecast to be a beautiful 80 degree day. It is breaking my heart to part with it, but I must do it now & the time is right. I just bought a new 2021 car & must be happy with it for now.

To let you know how cheap I am, I had just filled the FW up & I siphoned 5 gallons of gas out and put ir in my new car.

For now, here is my only vehicle, a 2021 Toyota Corolla Hatchback.

Sorry to hear health issues forced the sale of your Freewheeler

I know how much you loved riding it:(

Thanks Jack. I wanted to get 1 more summer trip in to Durango & down to Dallas to see my older brother. I had it all planned for this year and now I'm planning 3 surgeries, 7 weeks apart.:(

Really sorry to hear about your ongoing health problems Michael, someone else is going to get to enjoy your beautiful ride, I'm sure they will be happy with it.

I'm sorry to here about the health issues. Keep your chin up, I've been told in the last 2 years that I have less than 5 years and then less then 5 percent to live for a few days. I just rode to Kerrville for the week. I wish you the best of luck and just keep going.

Michael, hoping your surgeries go well and health improves. Sorry you're having to sell your Freewheeler and wishing you all the best. No matter don't be a stranger here on the forum. With or without makes no difference. Once a biker always a biker even in that Toyota Carolla.

I believe he already has a buyer. My son told me a couple came in who recently relocated to Durango from Chicago and owned a TG and the wife was looking for a FW trike so she could ride with her husband. He showed them my pictures & they were interested.
