What Did You Do To Your Freewheeler Today?

Nice day for a longer ride.

Lots of traffic, very few bikers?

I wonder why, gas is still cheap:p Florida is open, restaurants @ 50%. THe lockdown is winding down. I am going to Daytona for the long week end.;)

Enjoy your Daytona trip & please take some pictures & post them.

I may actually not rain tomorrow, so I'm gonna try to get a ride in.

+1 for us as well we live in a socialist draconian domain, with communist social demorats in charge. We must remember this come general elections there is a price to pay for Nazism. Not a happy camper Fred

I got a very nice 45 mile ride in before the afternoon rains here in STL. It is supposed to rain the next 4 days.

I stopped and filled up with 93 octane at $2.05 a gallon. I am really liking the new LED gas/voltage gauge.

I thought that I had a gas tank float problem, it turns out the mechanical OEM gauge just did not read accurately. The new gauge is working well.

Rain and More Rain

We have had rain for several days now and more forecast for the next week! Every time I go in the garage my FW's lights start flashing and the horn starts honking; she is ready to go and so am I! Hopefully soon!

Here in STL, we are having a stretch of good weather. I checked my tire pressures, all good & then decided to drain & replace my primary fluid, as I had 1 last quart of HD Formula + to use. It has only been about 5,000 miles & the drained fluid was filthy, I'm assuming due to clutch material. There was no metal on the magnetic drain plug.

I managed to get a quick wax job on the paint & the Lucas speed wax I have used for years continues to impress me.

When I make the switch to Redline, I'm going to try and go longer, but it just bothers me that the primary fluid gets so dirty.

I will get a nice ride in tomorrow, as I have a granddaughter's birthday gift to deliver.

I had to do some real work today, replacing the carburetor on my old Lawn Boy mower.

A new carb/gasket for $12 shipped from Florida. This is my 2nd replacement & the old green girl is running great again.

Tomorrow I will get a nice ride in as I'm going to my youngest sons house & him & my oldest son are venturing out to a local restaurant for dinner to stimulate the economy.

Nice ride today to my sons house, but it was above 90° & too damn hot! I also made my 1st. trip to a restaurant & a sit down dinner. Very nice.

Cleaned and oiled my air filter, it was pretty dirty

You probably get a lot of sand where you are.

Last time I checked mine it was not very dirty, but was dry as a bone.

I bought some different oil for it. It's a spray on type, vise the K&N oil you squirt on the pleats.

I washed it for her yesterday so she could get it dirty today.

I hope the rest of you are getting some riding in. It's either 95° here or were getting 3" of rain.

I may try to ride Saturday before the fireworks start. 1 of our local dealers is having a BBQ & I may swing by. I am having a hard time recovering from my early April bout of pneumonia that was pretty severe. It's amazing to me that the pneumonia is harder to recover from than the heart surgery. :)

You are one tough Cowboy -- pneumonia and heart surgery. I'm proud of you.

Hope you get to ride this weekend --- how about social distancing at the BBQ?

Cheers
