I just received my fan assembly from Jason and was reading over the install instructions, I was wondering if those of you that are running them took the seat and tank off in order to make the wiring nice and neat. I was thinking maybe taking just the left side panel off but it will be several days before I can have a look at how things are organized behind it. Any comments or advice are appreciated.

No need to take tank off. Remove seat and battery cover to wire it up. Use nylon ties to run wires under the gas tank.

I too have just received my Wards Fans and after reading the intructions I agree the tank should not need to be removed because there is a large area behind the engine under the seat pan that will allow the wire to run. I have removed my tank numerous times for running other wires but I don't think I need to remove it this time. Good luck on your fans!

Thanks everyone, hopefully next week I'll get them going.
