And once under fire, Some bace camp hero called back to tell me i was useing improper radio procedure.....I just politely raided back to him.. In no uncertain terms........................... Foxtrot Uniform [AKA ; F-U]....And put the handset back in my fatigue shirt and moved on to business..

I will give the Can a few clicks with my P 38 then give it to an indigenous personnel (Can’t use Gook anymore) this way they had to eat it right away and couldn’t sell it to Charlie...

I was at the Georgia National Veterans Cemetery today and every Tombstone has a Christmas wreath placed on it. This was part of the Wreaths across America.

Some were better than others...........
When we were resupplied out in Indian County [Every 5 days]...It was Dropped in though the triple canopy and to save weight we would destroy what we didn't want..So it was less to carry till the next resupply...You had to be there to understand ..

Thanks to all my brothers in arms for your faithful service and welcome home. I too still like to hear those words as well even after 50+ years it still makes my heart beat a beat faster. It was 25 years before I could feel safe enough to start acknowledging that I served in that God forsaken war publicly. Thanks for this place.
