U.S. Army 1972 / 1975... Helicopter crew chief. Did you know our beloved government passed a law (very quietly) that says if you make more than 34.000.00 and are not at least 10% disabled you cannot use the VA hospital anymore, ya they did.

My Chow line was mostly cases of “C’s” dropped through the triple canopy.. don’t remember ever seeing a cast iron skillet in Nam?

Those were the days my friend, we thought they would never end, we'd sing and dance forever and a day, we'd live the life we choose, we'd fight and never lose, for we were young and sure to have our way.

I first heard that song standing in the chow line at Ft. Polk, La. on Thanksgiving Day, 1968. Those C-Rations made me think.
