Vance and Hines delux slip ons

I have just discovered after just a year, the rolled stainless steel tips on my 16 triglide are starting to crack. Both sides. Anyone have this issue and can the tips be removed from the chrome mufflers? Thanks for any feed back.

Even though it has been more than a year...have you tried contacting V&H, they may make it right for you.
