Valkyrie Forks rebuild with Goldwing 1800 progressive springs

My right one has been leaking a while and was trying to hold out till my rake kit arrives. Anyway pulled the right side down and found oil seal had been damaged I guess by someone attempt . All sliders and bushing bad both sides. The right side that wasn't leaking only had about 10 oz of oil in it. Before I rebuild them I had 3 1/4 on my forks and didn't take much to bottom out. Both stock springs was out of spec. Love the progressive springs I put 22 oz in the right one and 24 oz in the left one. I used ATF dexron/merc fluid. Rides so much better and now has 5 3/8 free play in the forks. Also found bad wheel bearing and I had ordered some new ones with dust seals. Had to replace brake pads due to the fork oil had soaked them. All is better now and rides like a new trike.
