Headed home from a ride Saturday and had a run in with a small deer. Luckily my wife and I came out with no injuries, the deer wasn't as lucky.

Took it in for repairs Monday and found out it would be out of service for 6-8 weeks. Dealer made us a good trade offer for the wrecked 2015 to upgrade to a 2017. Looking forward to breaking in the new trike!

Just don't use the deer brake-in Method with the 17.....Great color choice on the new one by the way....ThumbUp

Thank goodness you were not injured. New one looks great! watch the deer... :clapping: Travel safely Fred

Glad to hear you and your lady were okay, congratulations on the new 17...I agree with Bob on the color combination :clapping:

Well thats one way to upgrade.

Glad you both made it all right. ThumbUp

Are we all invited to the barbeque for venison?

You will love the new motor. Stopped & forgot to down shift :Joker3:. Bike still pulled out in 4th albeit carefully. :qpnmt:

Glad it turned out good for you... you will love the new trike, the M8 motor is awesome!

BTW... the deer here in Florida are about the size of a large dog. Where I grew up in PA, they could do a lot more damage! :gah:

Enjoy the new scoot.:Santa:

Congrats on the new ride! Great color combo. Helluva way to get an upgrade though! My wife and I also had an "encounter" with a (stupid, dumb, worthless) deer ((can you tell I have no use for these animals?)) several years ago on our '09 Electra-Glide Ultra. Luckily we did not go down. Sustained about $2200 damage to the bike, but it was all cosmetic so we were still able to ride it. It took two months to get the new painted to match front fender from the factory.
