C90 Lehman Jackal - I need to grease the rear universal but I'm having some trouble accessing the grease fitting. It's at an angle that I just can't get at with my grease gun which has a straight non-flex barrel. Because of the understructure of the trike I can't get at it except from the left side. Suggestions (besides taking it to a dealer)?

Go to NAPA they sell adapters. I use one on the Stallion that is like a small tube that you have to hold tight up to the fitting. It does not go over the fitting.

thats called a high pressure grease fitting. its zrerk fitting is has a small indintation where you hold the needle on as you grease it. you might also try to buy 2 grease gun hoses and put them on your grease gun. this alloys you to reach in under the frame to grease it. good luck.

Ive had the same issue with my Monarch II. I wound up getting a flexible line for my grease gun. I also use car ramps to get some clearance to get underneath to grease the u-joint. These old bone dont flex like they used to.

I have the 'old bones' issue also. However, i can lay down on a mat on the left side of the trike and get access to the universal joint. The problem is the orientation of the fitting prevents me from getting the tip of the grease gun (pistol) on it. The fitting is at an angle and turned slightly towards the outer end of the universal sleeve.
