has anybody used the COBRA FI2000R. sold my 83 flht, warranty about over on 2010 xxx, now it's time to take care of the heat issue. the reason i'm lookin at the cobra, looks to be plug and play

If your looking for a plug and play unit you might want to check out the Dobeck -- easy to install and tune, great tech support

Techlushion Module (Dobeck) is an economical approach if you want plug-n-play, without losing a manberry to achieve it. If you shop around, you can pick one up for under 200 bucks. Certainly you will not get the performance of a PowerComander, or the expensive Cobra units. So if you are just an average dude that wants your bike to run well-Techlushion could be your ticket home. You can install one in about 30 minutes and dial it it in 5 more.

I use the FI 2000 on my M109 based trike and I'm very happy with it's ease of use & value for money. It makes for very simple seat of the pants tuning. Remember that all piggy back systems don't operate in real time unlike reflashing the ECU. :) Baz.
