Traveling through Illinois this Saturday, headed west. Should we take 74 through Peoria or take the outer belt? Should be in the area around 2:00 P.M. That will be about the 400 mile mark & time for fuel and a stretch.

I would drive straight through on 74 they are working on 474 closing lanes down ,,,
